I built this course as a part of my work at the GRID (Games Research & Immersive Design) Lab. While the GRID Lab has produced many untethered, walkable VR games, none have contained physical attributes. This course will provide a template for students to create their own VR experiences that can be mapped to the space and contain physical elements for increased immersion.

I worked with a team consisting of myself, another undergrad, and a graduate student. We used a variety of power tools (miter saw, nail gun, etc) and built the entire course out of 2 by 4s, particle board, and paneling.
Here is the course in use for the first time, another student created a simple VR experience to showcase its potential.
This video shows the course immediately after completion.
